Welcome to Engage Your Core Fitness, keeping people moving for longer.

We offer affordable group fitness classes in the Noosa Hinterland town of Cooroy as well as online classes. Our staff are fully qualified, registered fitness instructors, with 21 years of experience between them.

As well as general fitness, we offer a range of specific classes to suit everyone.

We offer a wide range of options, so there is sure to be somethign that suits everyone. Read the class descriptions here and choose what you will try first.

Fitness for you

Group fitness is an enjoyable way to exercise while meeting people and building friendships. All classes welcome all levels of fitness. Inclusivity is important to us, and we help everyone work to the best of their ability.

The main benefits of exercise are to help improve muscle strength and flexibility, decrease the risk of falling, help reduce the risk of chronic disease like heart disease and diabetes, improve immune function, and help mental health. Exercise may even help improve sleep.

As a family-run business, caring and making everyone feel welcome and accepted, no matter their fitness level, is a vital part of what we do and why we do it.

The atmosphere of the classes are friendly and non-competitive. Your classmates will be supportive and helpful – we make you feel part of the family.

For people that like to exercise in the comfort of their own home and save time driving, try our online classes. Led live by an instructor, our Zoom classes are interactive and use minimal equipment. Everything you need can be found around the house.

Based in the Noosa Hinterland, Engage Your Core Fitness is a wonderful way to exercise in a wonderful part of the country. With the beautiful beaches of Noosa to the East, and the outback to the West, Noosa Hinterland is in a great spot positioned right in between.

Find us in Cooroy for weekly classes. If you can’t join us in person, we’d love to see you online in our Zoom classes.

 

About Us

Justin and Micheala are Noosa Hinterland locals and are passionate about encouraging people to be the best they can be. Whether you want to improve and maintain fitness, are recovering from injury, or need help improving your health, Justin and Micheala can help you achieve your goals. Having overcome health issues themselves, Micheala and Justin both know the strength it takes to recover and build strength again after injury.

Micheala

Micheala is an instructor with over 20 years’ experience specialising in over-fifties exercise. Micheala trained in the UK and over the years she has learned how important group exercise classes can be for people to gain confidence and fitness. She has personally dealt with chronic health issues and had to recover her fitness level, strength and flexibility a number of times. This gives her first-hand understanding, experience, empathy and passion for helping people overcome physical and mental barriers to exercise.

Justin

Justin is an inspiring instructor that faces every new challenge with a willingness to overcome. His passion is to help people understand the value of fitness. He works with people from beginners to experienced, to build exercise into everyday activities. After the reconstruction of his wrist, he learned the value of exercise to build strength and increase flexibility so that he could learn to use his wrist again for everyday tasks.
